No-Campfire Banana Splits

Prep time: 15 minutes / Cook time: 6-8 minutes / Serves: 4 Category:


  1. Preheat the grill or oven to medium heat (about 325 F)
  2. Slice the banana lengthwise, just enough to hold the toppings. Be careful not to cut all the way through or it will leak
  3. Stuff in as many toppings as you want (or can fit), then carefully wrap the banana in aluminum foil so there are no holes
  4. Place on the grill and cook for six to eight minutes until the banana has softened
  5. Unwrap the foil and serve hot with a spoonful of ice cream


  • 4 large bananas
  • 1 tub of frozen yogurt
  • Toppings: chopped chocolate/chips, shredded coconut, nuts, fruits, peanut butter, hazelnut spread, etc
